Terms and Conditions

Thank you for being a part of our community! We want to ensure that every Sew South Tampa sewer has the best experience possible. To help with this, we’ve put together some important policies for you below. Before you register for a class, camp, or workshop, please read our policies. When you register for a class, camp, or workshop, you agree to our terms and conditions.

Have additional questions or concerns? Feel free to contact us. We are happy to help you!

We do not issue refunds for class tuition installments, camp, or workshop fees.  Once a student has registered for classes and a tuition installment payment agreement is submitted for the class year, (skill classes), camp week, workshop dates, it is final. We are a tuition-based school for sewing and work with parents for submitting tuition and payments as much as possible.  Once your sewer or camper has been registered that seat in class is full. We are unable to fill that seat once class registration is full, camp or workshops have begun, therefore if the sewer leaves the class you as a parent are still liable for fees, payments, and/or tuition.

We have a strict no cancellation and no transfers policy; for camps, if the camper is unable to attend we will arrange to put them in another camp that has openings or credit you for next year's camp.

In the event of low enrollment, we reserve the right to cancel a class or camp at any time. If a class or camp is canceled, enrolled students will be notified at least 48 hours prior to the start of class and will receive a full refund.

Classes, camps, and workshops are located at our studio located at:

1001 E Ellicott St.

Tampa, FL

Advance registration is required for all classes, workshops, and camps. You may register for camps and workshops online.

Upon registration in regard to skill classes, you will select your tuition payment plan. The options consist of:

  • A one-time payment of the full tuition upon registration

  • Two payments, half of the tuition due upon registration, with the second half due January 1st.

  • Three payments, the first is due upon registration, the second payment is due November 15th, third payment is due March 1st.

All payments must be paid by the due date stated on the invoice. Any payment submitted within 7 days after the due date stated on the invoice will incur a $25 late fee, any payment submitted 8-14 days after the due date on the invoice will incur a $50 late fee.

After registration, you will receive a confirmation email along with an invoice for the one-time registration fee and the first payment of tuition.

All private lessons must be scheduled with an instructor and will be charged $45/hour. Any cancellation/reschedule must be made at least 24 hours prior to the start of the lesson. Any cancellation/reschedule made within 24 hours of the lesson will still be charged for the scheduled time of the private lesson.

Classes start and end on time. Please be on time to class, as all of our classes rely on an on-time start. Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes early to class. There are no makeups for missing all or part of a class, with the exception of illness.

Holidays/Spring Breaks that differ from our studio's Spring Break (we follow Hillsborough County Public School Schedule). For example, sports games, school functions, vacations, etc. do not qualify for make-up classes. Make-up classes are only offered for illness.

We cannot guarantee that any student will complete her project in its entirety.

Specific class instructors are subject to change at any time and without notice to attendees.

Throughout classes, workshops, and other events at Sew South Tampa, we will photograph and/or videotape students and their work. Please speak to your instructor, or get in touch with us before your class or event if you have specific questions about this policy.
