COVID-19 Precautions and Class Descriptions:
This year, classes will be smaller and follow COVID 19 safety recommendations. We will have classes offered online via zoom, in-class, or as a hybrid (online and in-class). Beginners are only allowed to take classes "in-class". The class offerings vary depending on the date and time (see class schedule below).
If a session says "Zoom only", then all the students in the session will be taking the class via Zoom. If your seamstress(es) would like to take "Zoom" classes only, then please fill out the "Zoom Class" registration form.
If a date says "Zoom or In-Class", then a maximum of four students will be In-Class, while other students will be taking the class during the same time via Zoom. This is a flexible option, where you can choose if Zoom or In-Class works better for your seamstress(es). You can mix and match Zoom and In-Class. If your seamstress(es) would like to take "flexible" classes (choice between zoom or in-class) only, then please fill out the "Flexible Class" registration form.
If a date says "Option A or Option B", then this is a hybrid style class. The students in the class will alternate between Zoom and In-Class each week. Again, a maximum of four students will be In-Class at a time. See "Option A vs. Option B" for an in-depth schedule. There is a set schedule for In-Class weeks and Zoom weeks. If your seamstress(es) would like to take a "hybrid" class, then please fill out the "hybrid" registration form.
Our skill classes, perfect for beginners to advanced seamstresses, begin with the basics and work through a skill building curriculum. Classes run mid August through mid May and will be divided by skill level. Placement for classes is based on the sewers ability, discipline, age and attendance. Following registration for classes we will contact you to go over placement and schedule. All students will have the opportunity to sew up to two outfits for the year end fashion show. Please check out our FAQ's at the bottom of the page if you have any questions.
For all children classes, click "register" and complete one of the registration forms or wait list form.
